The Decomposition of Self

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut bibendum tortor sit amet ligula rutrum, at porta tortor convallis ...

“The Decomposition of Self” delves into the tension between my self-perception and external reality. Each brush stroke captures the disconcerting experience of seeing my own reflection dissolve, my sense of desperation and alienation, expressed through the poem I wrote: Sometimes When I stare at my own reflection Long enough All the layers of my skin are falling apart. My skin is on fire, burning and itching Melting inside out, down onto my knees. Scratching and scratching I tried. Peeling off my face and screaming in despair. I was stuck in a body I’m so distanced from.

Up in the clouds, Down to the waterfall. The depersonalisation happens all over again.
